Sarah Kateifides 

Meet our director and teacher Sarah Kateifides. Sarah has taught music for over 15 years. She received a Bachelor of Music from the University of Southern Queensland in Australia and a Master of Music Education through Southern Utah University. Before moving to the US Sarah taught band in Australia at the elementary and secondary level. Working collaboratively with staff and administration she was able to build a strong and sustainable program. Sarah loves working with young musicians and creating meaningful and beautiful music. 

While in Australia Sarah worked as the director of the Rockhampton Youth Orchestra and Band Teacher at Emmaus College and would volunteer her time to play and direct in pit orchestras. 

Sarah has performed in many different types of ensembles, The USQ Keyboard Ticklers, Rockhampton City Brass Band, Capricornia Winds and most recently the Mount Logan Symphony.

Sarah is currently the director of the Northern Utah Wind Ensemble which is part of the Northern Utah Youth Ensembles. Follow this link to learn more https://www.northernutahyouthsymphony.org/
